I am both shocked and dismayed by the news that Magistrate Ketara Lyon 
has admitted to allowing a vampire to feed from her willingly. The sole 
bright spot in this repulsive turn of events is that the matter was 
brought to my attention by another magistrate, rather than the headlines 
of the city's scandal rags. At the recommendation of Magistrate Caros, I 
am suspending Magistrate Lyon from duty effective immediately pending a 
review of the matter by her fellow Magistrates. I ask you therefore to 
confer with one another, and tender me a recommendation on how best to 
address this situation. Attached you will find a copy of Magistrate 
Caros' findings from his conversation with Magistrate Lyon.

I have questioned Magistrate Lyon and she has admitted to fraternizing with
a vampire, Tertius Seneca. Seneca was Magistrate Lyon's son's guardian and
followed him here to Drache. Magistrate Lyon allowed Seneca to feed from her
while he was in the city. Exactly how long Seneca remained in Drache is not
yet known, but Magistrate Lyon believes he fled the city shortly after she
admonished him to leave or be destroyed.
