[Royal Guard] Guard Report - Incident at Black Dragon Inn - 2. I. 479

Guards report, Arms-Sergeant Marqhen Alajin-Stygian

Date of incident: *The second day of Flunnish in the four hundred and
seventy-ninth year from the founding of Tagrana.
 
During a regular patrol while passing nearby the Black Dragon Inn, an
explosion rocked the premises. Upon attending the scene I was advised that
the suspected perpetrator had already fled. (A very sparse description of
Ourus Shadowstar) During questioning a further attack occurred, targeting
both the original target and myself. The attacks were performed using a type
of magic I have so far been unable to identify. Assistance from a member of
the Spell corps would be appreciated.

The original target of the attack was a man by the name of Vaelian Roschel,
who currently resides at the Silver Swan. He states that the man attacked
him dur to Vaelian attempting to prevent the man from harassing a woman,
identified as Makayla Darkest. I questioned the woman and she confirmed
these events, however stated that she has no permanent residency in the
city. If further information is needed from the woman, I have advised that a
message shall be left at the Black Dragon Inn.

It should be noted that Vorfon Roschel assisted in protecting myself during
the second attack, pulling me to the ground before the attack struck. I
should like it to be officially noted.

It is my suggestion that a bounty be placed upon the head of the accused, to
be brought in for questioning.

I should also note that Arms-Corporal Merrax Ratholta attended the scene
after the event, and he may be able to collaborate on this information.
