Incident Report of Relthzaal son Quetzal

Last night in the Black Dragon Inn a suspicious patron entered the inn.  
Because he appeared to be walking dead I used my amulet.  It releases a 
pulse that is sensitive to the specific aura of cold that only the undead 
give off.  Confirming that he was indeed a vampire I confronted him 
peacefully, letting him know that he was illegal and offering to end his 
suffering without pain.  The situation was under hand I believed, when 
Lieutenant Kirin Arnise arrived.  He also confirmed that the man was a 
vampire and then the creature attacked.  Several patrons attempted to 
involve themselves and after a brief scuffle the creature was destroyed.  
During the attack one of the patrons, Ravynetti, was revealed to also be 
some sort of undead, not a vampire, but something else.  He had jeweled 
teeth and used a staff of bone.  When I alerted the Lieutenant of the fact, 
he claimed that the man was a friend of his and that I should leave him 
alone.  I have followed orders but this does disturb me. I believed that the 
undead were not tolerated in Drache.  I am new to the Guard and the city as 
well.  What was the correct procedure? Should I have followed orders and l 
let the man go, or should I have requested back up from additional units 
that did not have loyalties to the creature?
