Memorandum For Record
Accusation of Assault
More Questions Than Answers
It is a burden of the guard to be weary of unlawful actions, demonic and
devillish incursions within the borders of the fair city we voluntarilly
protect and the crown we serve, but we must also be on the look out for fair
and just treatment. The accused are not guilty until proven so and we should
not jump to conclusions, I would not discredit either account and indeed I
have encountered the child in question, I thought him feral and am in no way
capable of detecting demons on a whim. The boy to me was simply as I was as
a child, barbaric and unlearned, if it is true he is demonic than it is our
civic duty to see the taint removed from him by whatever means necessary.
However 'Sir' Halfmoor as he has fancied himself I have observed more than a
few times quite beligerant and drunk beyond all reason in the inn, which is
perfectly fine but he accused even myself as being a demon when I told him
to calm himself. I have known him not quite as long as other perhaps but
from what I have seen he is not unknown to make greater claims than there is
substantial proof. We should by all means take his word into account in
investigating this, but it should not be taken as absolutel law and truth.
Justice is ever vigilant brothers and sisters of the guard, be unbiased but
firm in dispensing judgement.
Sgt. Arnise, Kirin
3rd Platoon, Wharf Garrison
