A note for the archives, and a copy for the guards to inform them,

"23rd Last Seed,

Sentance passed on one Cora Coranai, nephew of the late repeat offender, 
Ender.  He has been forbidden from carrying or weilding, bar in self 
defense, any form of bladed weapon until he reaches his Brekerrat on the 4th 
of Sun's Dusk, 475.

He has been given the benefit of the doubt, but should he be caught breaking 
this ban, he is to have a geas of the same effect placed on him immediately, 
along with any additional punishments added at the time.
