[Royal Guard] Giese Faol Arrested

On this eve, [03/02/2009], an undercover arrest operation was carried out in the Back Alley.  Spearheading the operation was myself, Arms-Sergeant Idelle Sarault, accompanied by Arms-Corporal Markus Duke, Armsmen Bieusta Lui, Thomas Bayalut, and Clayden Ostris.  The target was Giese Faol, an individual implicated in an extortion and assault case earlier in the week.

An earlier patrol had revealed this individual's fixed whereabouts as part of a reconnaissance effort.  As such, a team was assembled later that evening to act on the intelligence and apprehend this individual and take him into custody.  Due to the location and the sensitivity of making arrests in the area, I hand selected a team of Guardsmen to accompany me on this operation.

Under the guise of opium peddler, prostitute and escortee, we moved in and quickly surrounded the individual who was found out front of a residence late in the evening.  A stage coach concealed the other two Armsmen, who promptly exited to hold this man at crossbow-point until we took him into custody.  He was not alone when we swept in, however.  [Description of Dukke] was also found present as a clear associate, but did not interfere with our efforts.

Without incident, Giese Faol was taken into custody and lead into the coach, where he was escorted back to the Royal Guardhouse for processing.  He currently resides within one of the holding cells awaiting trial.

The charges brought against him remain at one count of extortion and two counts of assault.  Elapidae is the primary witness to these crimes and may need to be subpoenaed for trial.
