[Royal Guard] Assault on a Guardperson in the Royal Inn

At or around the Fifth Night Bell, I was summoned by a bellow to the
BlkDragon Inn.  The citizen requesting help was a draconic being named
Garr, who reported that one patron had attacked another.  I entered to
find a humanoid person with feline ears and tail, named Ryuami,
throwing a chair at a heavily-armed gnoll ((Urau`auk)).  A
magically-assisted sketch of the gnoll follows this report.

Ryuami immediately stood down, but when I insisted that the patrons
explain the situation, the gnoll lifted a crossbow and shot at me.  I
attempted to restrain him with a spell, but the bolt hit me in the
upper left arm and my spell missed its target.  The gnoll escaped
through the kitchen, and my wound prevented me from giving chase.

I took reports from the patrons at the scene.  Evidently, the gnoll
had attacked Ryuami without provocation upon entering, and Ryuami had
only fought to defend himself.  Ryuami offered to pay for the chair he
had damaged in the fight, and I instructed him to speak with Dulcina
concerning that.  Garr corroborated the story, and no other patrons
disagreed.  I requested that they file any further information at the
Guardhouse and then reported for healing.

The healer reports that my wound will take some time to heal, so I
have placed a separate request for a leave of absence from active
patrolling for the recommended healing period.  I will most likely be
on desk duty if any further information is required.  This gnoll shows
skill with weapons and no reluctance to attack Guardfolk.  He may not
speak Common.  I encourage great caution when dealing with this
individual.
