Date: Sun, 14 Sep 2008 03:37:08 -0700 (PDT) Subject: [Royal Guard] Fugitive Pixie (DeathPixie) Message-ID: <900661.77901.qm@web58802.mail.re1.yahoo.com> This report is in regards to an incident encountered at the Black Dragon Inn on [September 14th, 2008]: Upon entering the Black Dragon Inn to seek the resident manifest from Dulcina for review and cross referencing with fugitives (and their aliases), I encountered a pixie that was lavishly displaying her use of magic.? Upon form changing, I gave her a rather odd look, which seemingly caught her attention.? She inquired about it and then offered to teach me the craft.? I declined and she offered to demonstrate the use of invisibility.? Without specifying, I told her I was uneasy with her craft, but didn't object to a self-display. The pixie (description of DeathPixie) proceeded to cast a form of dust upon me, which caused my clothing to become transparent.? Upon realizing this, I informed the pixie that she was being placed under arrest for the criminal use of magic against a crown official.? Not taking me seriously, the pixie changed forms and fled to the rafters. She then proceeded to indirectly threaten me by claiming that if I arrested her, she'd have to tell her 'counsel' and later stated, "If I did that, I wouldn't want to see them turn you into a frog." At this point I had had enough and requested that the kitchen staff fetch a ladder, which I used to climb up into the rafters to apprehend the fugitive and uncooperative pixie.? I again demanded her to surrender herself and thusly she cast a spell upon herself that made her invisable, at which point she proceeded to taunt me over a now-exposed artificial leg of mine. Upon reaching a ceiling in which I was unable to apprehend her due to her use of magic, I left the Black Dragon in order to seek a Spellcaster within the ranks of the Royal Guard.? When I eventually found one on duty, I returned with him to the Inn only to find that the pixie had evidently fled the establishment. This pixie is to be charged with two counts of criminal use of magic, one against a crown official.? In addition, she is being charged with threatening a crown official and evading arrest.? I am recommending she be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the magistrate's will due to her disrespectful behavior and blatant disregard for the law in Arangoth. She immediately began stirring up diatribe about regrowing my leg when I interrupted her to announce the charges against her and state that she was under arrest.? Being noncompliant yet again, the fae flew up into the rafters. I stated again that she needed to surrender herself or I would use force.? She taunted me from above my range and this time proceeded to directly threaten me.? (Deathpixie) blatantly announced that she would turn me into a small animal if I even tried to capture her. Due to the fact that the fae's abilities are well outside of my range, I decided to resort to some extreme tactics and called upon my alchemic teachings to flush her out.? In doing so, I asked that Dulcina and the rest of the Inn staff move to the back of the kitchen.? No one else appeared to be present at the time. While I prepped a strong peroxide/aluminum powder/magnesium flash powder cocktail on the counter, she began to recite some spell.? Reacting immediately, I tossed the alchemic container up into the rafters.? It exploded while she was up there, but by the time I recovered, myself, I realized she had turned me into a pig. It was about this time that Arms-Corporal Merrax ul-Oryan Ratholta had responded to the explosion.? It took him some time to realize that indeed I had been transformed into a pig through the criminal use of magic.? The Arms-Corporal proceeded to search the rest of the Inn for the fae, which had seemingly disappeared.? It wasn't until some time later that the fae appeared on one of the tables. (Deathpixie) pursued her mind numbing dialogue with Arms-Corporal Ratholta.? After he persistantly asked for her to surrender herself and that she was under arrest, she threatened to turn him into an animal and to take both of us to a street butcher.? It was established not too long after that her appearance on the table was merely an illusion. The working assumption is that she, in her true form, remained invisible in the rafters.? However, at one point in the evening when it was presumed she left the premise, the fae burst in through the Inn's front doors and threw about accusations that I, "ruined her dress."? I can only guess she was refering to the charring from the alchemic explosion.? At any rate, I struck her with my leg when she flew up to me, pointing a finger.? The fae then flew across the room and disappeared yet again. This now brings her total charges up to: 4 counts of criminal use of magic (2 against a Crown Official) 3 counts of resisting arrest 3 counts of threatening a Crown Official and 1 count of assault upon a Crown Official She had made it abundantly clear that she does not observe or recognize the law here in Arangoth.? In addition, the fae has demonstrated that her transgressions know no bounds. Take caution when apprehending this suspect.? One of the ops had a long conversation with the mun about his/her actions, and we were unable to reach any sort of reasonable compromise about what this character should be allowed to do. We weren't going to allow her to continue to abuse the Royal Guard en masse with impunity, and she had no interest in working with her. The ban on Deathpixie is permanent as far as we're concerned, so you guys don't need to deal with this idiocy in the future. I don't know what it is about ChatFirst players, but they cause us an inordinate amount of trouble because they expect us to conform to their expectations rather than try to make any effort to adapt to BDI. --Dan
