ALL DISTRICTS: be on the lookout for a vampire by the name of Cronimus.
(description included) He has threatened citizenry, ensorcelled
innocents, and assaulted Crown Officials. He is apparently on the hunt
for someone in the city named 'Rysher' (description included). Like many
Drachean vampires, he is immune to holy water and sunlight, but has been
cut and injured by simple steel. He uses shadow-magic, and can teleport.
Be warned, Cronimus enjoys bantering and may appear to be innocuous.

He is charged with: Crimes Against the Crown (Assault upon a Crown
Official; Resisting Arrest) and Crimes Against the Citizenry (Mind Rape;
Threatening Assault)

REPORT:

After signing off the graveyard shift, I arrived at the Black Dragon Inn
in the mid-afternoon for a drink. Soon, Cronimus appeared, stepping out
of shadows magically. He was brought to my attention - as well as that
of Magistrate Nero ul-Azhur Myurod - when he attempted to order
'blood-wine.' (The remarkable Dulcina instead served him wine spiked
with holy water, which he drank with no effect).

I challenged the creature, distracting it with words while trying to
suss out its true intent and origins. Through this I learned that
Cronimus was indeed a vampire, and was pursuing one 'Rysher' (whose name
I learned later), who is also pursued by others in the city. However, as
his intent was to kill Rysher, I was eventually forced to attack the
vampire after having lulled him into a false sense of security with my
conversation.

Unfortunately, one Magistrate Nero Myurod was little help. Cronimus was
wounded by a nearby warrior, then escaped. He did manage, however, to
mesmerize a local lady by the name of Sahybera D' St. Aubin.

His next attack came as Arms-Lt. Kirin Arnise, who had arrived on the
scene, and myself were attempting to shield Lady D' St. Aubin from his
spells. We joined battle again, but again he escaped. This time,
however, the Lady was freed from his mystical clutches.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that Lady D' St. Aubin was an
acquaintance of Rysher. She was, however, unable to provide any clues as
to why the vampire would be after the fellow, not knowing him
particularly well. She was advised to see to her security and informed
of her options in contacting the Guard. She is currently staying at the
Black Dragon Inn itself. She was also advised to have Rysher contact the
Guard to make a report.

In addition to my recommendation of bountying the vampire in question, I
would also like added to my report a complaint as to the conduct of
Magistrate Myurod. Not only was he not useful to the situation at hand,
but he was slightly detrimental. He refused to take my lead as a
Commissioned Officer of the Guard, and so confused the situation. This
is a problem some Guards have noticed on the streets in dealing with
those more proactive Magistrates who choose to patrol Drache.

OOC:

Rysher and Cronimus are played by the same mun, and he can be a bit
trying sometimes. Cronimus is, for example, a black-robed vampire whose
hair is long and black, can walk through shadows, use some time magic,
and is immune to sunlight and holy water. He insta-ports, and often does
quite a few actions in one post.

That being said, he's not a terrible fellow and shows signs of
improvement. He takes hits and damage, and didn't use ridiculously
powerful attacks, either. I think he's probably just a little trapped in
a style, and with some patient play will come out of it.
