A missive with a heavy slant and scrawly Arangothek characters arrives within the usual guard report piles for the day, originally misplaced with a stack of other filed items in the guardhouse:
----------------------------------------------------------

So, I've decided to have a chat with Dulcy and come in for my usual cup of the dark stuff, last Menxhest, Evening Star 12. When I get there I meet up with Magistrate Julius Malbraxa, who's talking army stuff with Dorn ul-Shander Varros. The army Sergeant then gets my attention and sticks his finger out towards this young girl sitting at a nearby table (description of Beros). This girl did have a set of horns and a tail by the way, and Sergeant Varros wondered whether she might be a demon.

No sooner has Varros said this, when this horned girl goes scooting up the stairs. Naturally, I ask her... okay, well I order her to come back down for questioning. This is all good and well, right? Too bad there's some konkeletek broppi standing there on the other side (description of Daniel`Elwes) who gets all protective and acts like a typical kaxatod, telling me that I should just leave her alone and let her go, and, he's like 'ooh, ooh, don't hurt her please', and 'unless you have evidence of her wrong doing, then if you'll please excuse us, we're late.'

Stupid broppi mugoxod.

Anyway, I'm on the defence trying to get this girl to cooperate, as I had a vial of holy water blessed from our ever-busy Father Paetines, so I thought that if I gave her a drop and she's demonic, it'd burn her, right? Meanwhile, Varros and this other possible demon-sympathizer get into a shouting match. Or something. I sit the girl down, get her some tea and try and just chat with her about the situation, whilst Varros lays the verbal smack-down. I've never seen this technique used before, but Menxvan's teeth, it worked well!

But then... But THEN, there's some tall, eye-glowing idiot (description of Andramar) who starts growling and making noises and thumping some clawed feet on the ground, and whatnot. Being all threatening and glowy-eyed. The typical konkeletek that sit in the dark corners of the King's Inn. Vorfon Malbraxa goes up to this eye-burner and demands he identify himself, and then he just, leaves. I think I might have seen him the other night in the King's Inn when I was talking to Arms-Sergeant Idelle Sarault.

Anyways, I reckon we should bring these two in for questioning, especially this Beros girl. I'd bet a Khalar-sangli's arse she's some sort of demon.
