From nextsynapse at yahoo.com Mon Dec 15 19:26:57 2008 From: nextsynapse at yahoo.com (Ayanula ...) Date: Mon, 15 Dec 2008 17:26:57 -0800 (PST) Subject: [Royal Guard] Wanted Fugitive Resurfaces (Leyborne) Message-ID: <842471.34653.qm@web58807.mail.re1.yahoo.com> This report is being submitted and distributed as notice that a previously wanted fugitive has resurfaced and is either commuting through Drache or currently in hiding within the city.? Contact was made a month and a half ago during an undisclosed date: I happened to be in the Black Dragon Inn when I observed a man (description of Leyborne) and a cloaked woman (description Elapidae) seemingly having a physical altercation.? When I approached the two, the woman instantly grew silent and timid.? The man, however, was more sly in explaining that they were a couple and that they were merely having a small exchange of bickering.? He proceeded to nurse the woman within his grasp and hugged her affectionately for some time. The woman's demeanor remained rather rigid and stiff as though she froze in the presence of the Guard.? I questioned her a little and established that she was likely hiding something, but left them distance at that point.? In the absence of anything else suspicious, I left to resume my nightly patrol. On several occasions thereafter, I came across the woman again and questioned her on a continuous basis.? I realized after some time that she was more or less timid over the fact that she had snakes for hair and was rather ghastly looking and wished not to expose herself for the general public. However, upon later review of old criminal records and wanted lists, I realized that the man with her (description of Leyborne) is currently still wanted by the Crown for being a suspected demon.? I came across this familiar woman again tonight at the Black Dragon Inn and questioned her regarding the man.? She told me he had given the name, "Leyborne" to her and I cross referenced it to the names currently found within the Inn's manifest/log, only to find that he is not currently residing there under that name, if at all. She has been intentionally vague on providing any further information on this individual's current or prior whereabouts.? A not so sneaking suspicion tells me she is being decietful and I intend to find out pending further investigation. This notice is being circulated for all members of the Royal Guard to be on the lookout for this individual known only as, "Leyborne," which may be an alias.? He has been spotted and is to be approached with extreme caution. Signed, ~Idelle Sarault, Arms-Sergeant -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... When I get there I meet up with Magistrate Julius Malbraxa, who's talking army stuff with Dorn ul-Shander Varros. The army Sergeant then gets my attention and sticks his finger out towards this young girl sitting at a nearby table (description of Beros). This girl did have a set of horns and a tail by the way, and Sergeant Varros wondered whether she might be a demon. No sooner has Varros said this, when this horned girl goes scooting up the stairs. Naturally, I ask her... okay, well I order her to come back down for questioning. This is all good and well, right? Too bad there's some konkeletek broppi standing there on the other side (description of Daniel`Elwes) who gets all protective and acts like a typical kaxatod, telling me that I should just leave her alone and let her go, and, he's like 'ooh, ooh, don't hurt her please', and 'unless you have evidence of her wrong doing, then if you'll please excuse us, we're late.' Stupid broppi mugoxod. Anyway, I'm on the defence trying to get this girl to cooperate, as I had a vial of holy water blessed from our ever-busy Father Paetines, so I thought that if I gave her a drop and she's demonic, it'd burn her, right? Meanwhile, Varros and this other possible demon-sympathizer get into a shouting match. Or something. I sit the girl down, get her some tea and try and just chat with her about the situation, whilst Varros lays the verbal smack-down. I've never seen this technique used before, but Menxvan's teeth, it worked well! But then... But THEN, there's some tall, eye-glowing idiot (description of Andramar) who starts growling and making noises and thumping some clawed feet on the ground, and whatnot. Being all threatening and glowy-eyed. The typical konkeletek that sit in the dark corners of the King's Inn. Vorfon Malbraxa goes up to this eye-burner and demands he identify himself, and then he just, leaves. I think I might have seen him the other night in the King's Inn when I was talking to Arms-Sergeant Idelle Sarault. Anyways, I reckon we should bring these two in for questioning, especially this Beros girl. I'd bet a Khalar-sangli's arse she's some sort of demon. - Arms Corporal Merrax ul-Oryan Ratholta. Thinking that I'd best stick to my job and do it properly, I approached the large, hooded individual, and asked her remove his hood and identify himself. He started growling and kept calling me 'Terran' for some reason. I don't even know what this bloody word means. Anyhow, he was generally a stuck-up pex who kept trying to act all tough and defiant and stuff. However, he didn't persist and did allow me ask a couple of questions. Magistrate Nero Myurod turned up at this point, and allowed me to continue questioning the individual whilst he observed. Cut a long story short, he said no on both counts of being either demonic or being a vampire, and the holy-water test I did upon his open palm proved negative. He's obviously not a demon nor some musigire, however he did display the typical stuck-up behaviour of these mugoxod wanderers coming in from lands I haven't heard of. I reckon we need to watch this guy carefully. Hopefully he won't stir up trouble, but he looks dangerous and stuck-up enough to do it. -Arms Corporal Merrax ul-Oryan Ratholta. --------------------------------------- ARANGOTHIAN-ISMS: kaxatod: A foreigner. pex: A dog. mugoxod: Foreigner (derogatory) musigire: An undead creature. I interviewed him on a separate matter;? that being to get his name down for our records.? Considering his evasiveness and reluctance to divulge his name, it was possible that he was on the Kingdom's wanted list as a fugitive. I tirelessly questioned the hooded creature until finally getting, "Extora, Croam Andramar Hellfire," out of him as name.? With the familiar surname in mind, I inquired as to whether or not he was related to a Kale or Natrias Hellfire, as the former was involved in a suspected demon/demon-aiding case a year ago.? He stood up and demanded to know where I knew of the names.? I explained, he relaxed, then informed me that Kale was his kin and that he didn't care too much for Natrias. It should be noted that this information may become relevant at a later time if Andramar is ever to be suspected of involvement in such a case in the future.? His companion (description of Darknesse), came close to following behind Andramar's footsteps in nearly coming toe-to-toe with me tonight.? She's displayed the same lack of respect and confrontational attitude towards the Royal Guard, if not more, than he.? This should be taken into consideration if approached in the future, as the pair may require backup in order to be confronted.
