After a few moments within, I noticed a black fox had taken up residence atop the bar and was crawling all over it, leaving fur and footprints and other such animal things. I retrieved a broom from Dulcina and proceeded to attempt to chase the creature from the Inn, when to my surprise, it began to talk! This also being quite unacceptable, I continued to pursue the endeavor to get the animal out of the Inn as quickly as possible. It eluded capture and dove into an unfamiliar woman's lap (description of `Trystan` follows), calling her its "master" and begging for her protection. Despite the fact that she had clearly never seen this creature before, she took the animal outside, which was an acceptable conclusion to the matter for me, and I considered it a done affair at that point. I would not have even filed a report were it not for the events that followed. While eating my meal, a man who followed the woman and fox outside (description of Milogost_Wojtyna) shouted in that the fox was a victim of his own magicks. Thinking nothing of it, and refusing to carry on a conversation with a door, I continued eating. The woman returned inside and explained to me that the fox was a human trapped as a fox due to some magickal mishap or other, and asked if he could return to the inside of the Inn. I am not without compassion, but I also do not want animals in the Inn (as I suspect no one else does), and so I instructed the woman to have the fox seek help from the Royal University or the spell casters within the ranks of the guard, and that the fox could shelter in the barn with the other animals, where he could be warm and safe, and that if he liked, he could remain on the front steps of the Inn, so long as he remained outside until his condition was resolved. A patron (description of Aphotic`Alexion) attempted to intercept the man but was 'leapt' over. The fugitive then attempted to stab the victim multiple times. The victim died during the ensuing melee. The fugitive is now at large in Arangoth and at my suggestion should be placed on the bounty list wanted for murder. I'd finished that Menx-damned hourxxxx --- finished First Watch in the Black Dragon District, and entered into the premises for a nice chat and cuppa coffee with our brogod, Dulcina, and perhaps anybody else who might be up for conversation and not call me a corrupt, callous, fist-beating facist pig, and act like some sangli-kicked konkeletek broppi like most of the patrons I talk to seem to do half the bloody time. Instead, once I'd just waklxxx peramboolatxxx stepped inside, I found after I'd just asked our brogod for a nice hot cup of thick sludge, there was some Aslarian kaxatod, who seemed to be acting more like a mugoxod when for some Menxdamned reason he had taken upon himself to stand over a table between two patrons across the commons. One of them a sturdy looking Nipenxxx..Nipiurxxxx. Panguro-whatsiit, and the other I believe was the Panguro-whatsit man's lady who was really hot-XXX was rather attractive in appearance. . The patrons who I was looking upon, the Bahj Vorfon and Tespin, seemed to be eating a meal or drinking tea, or whatever it is up-nosed, well-dressed, Bahijian-looking rich and loaded-to-the-eyeballs kaxatods coming to Drache actually do in their spare time. Whatever it was they were doing, I don't believe they were acting with any hostility, unlike the mugoxod Aslarian, who was swearing like some Seccan sailor and then unsheathed what appeared to be some fancy Aslarian blade for some reason that appeared to be nothing but of spite. Racial and predjudice remarks were overheard, too. I immediatley told the aforementioned broppi muxugod Aslarian, in a rather direct and blunt Transdarinian manner, to put his blade away as public houses were no places for swordfights whilst standing around swearing at patrons trying to enjoy a meal. He didn't claim to be any bounty hunter either, which spoke even more fawbodxxx badly for his actions. The Panguro-dressed Bahijian kaxatod then led the mugoxod Aslarian broppi outside for a legal throw down in the arena. I decided to supervise the legal duel to ensure no foul play and to prevent danger that could find it's way to Drache's citizens if the fight clashed onto the streets. The duel ended with the Bahjian rich-looking fellow the victor, and the broppi Aslarian fellow yielded. I've heard rumors that this Aslarian foul-mouthed konkeletel might be the same sangli-kicked twat who made some harsh seditious comments that bordered on treason. I also believe he fought a legal duel with one of the Martial Tournament champions from last year. This was at the time that many claimed reports of seditious comments and intentions from this individual. I am writing this report becuase (a) I think the Aslari broppi is a foul-mouthed pexolta who is likely to perhaps cause more issues down the track, and (b) Drawing a blade without defensive reasons in a public house is also a criminal offense. I issued the Alsarian broppi with a warning, and informed him that any further actions of the same would result in his immediate arrest. Taken directly from the website itself: ADMINISTRATIVE DUTY ROSTER Indicating guards not actively patrolling, whether they are on administrative duty, guard duty at the Podar ul-Sinetattel or Castle Black, the Courthouse, Guard Headquarters or the Manor (Dungeons). Guards on the Administrative Duty Roster may apply for active duty at any time. (In OOC terms, the guard is not currently being played by the mun, but they wish to have those characters remain ready to play in the near future. They are on this list simply so we can keep track of what's going on more effectively.) Basically, if you're on hiatus, taking a break from IRC, having some connection issues, etc, or anything else that prevents your guard character from being actively played, that is, prevents you from being actively on IRC, or if you just want to take a break from the character itself, but still want it available, then the character should be moved to the administrative roster. It does NOT mean that the character cannot be played. In fact, it might be an interesting bit of story for the character to be played while on administrative duty, or "inactive" so to speak, as though they were taking a vacation, needed the time off for a personal situation, or maybe even got suspended (dun dun DUNNNN). It also does not mean that the character can't be placed right back on active duty as soon as you return. All it takes is a message to Stygian when he's online and BING! You're right back on active duty. Hopefully this clears some things up. Thanks!
