[Royal Guard] Letter to the guard/Report

The following is the text of a letter delivered to Vona Urgarth (Guard) on the previous day's afternoon. The deliverer, a freeman known as Anton Sasul, then proceeded to discuss the details of the report with the guard. Notes from that conversation follow the letter. Needless to say, the text is far too neatly written to be the freeman's; it was instead penned by a scribe on the man's behalf. 

"To the Drache City Guard;

I have this scribed to report properly the details of my robbing and the subsequent attempt on my life by a user of magic at the Black Dragon Inn.

The party in question appeared first as an elfin woman on the evening in question, attempting to extort money from an unknown Drow man. As this appeared to be failing, she attempted to shoot me with a crossbow with no prior provocation, and fortunately missed. At this point, my sword appeared to shatter, and my pouch appeared to burst into flames, which caused me to throw both to the ground. The pouch proceeded to pursue me across the room, threatening to engulf me in fire. When I was cornered, I threw my other sword at the Elf woman -- who had apparently transformed into a Drowess -- to disrupt the fire spell, for it was clearly magic. The woman disappeared when struck, as did the burning pouch and the shards of shattered sword -- it had not been a fire spell, but one of false senses. 

The real woman -- a vagrant-looking woman with injuries to her head -- appeared then in the doorway, and fled. After a pursuit, I managed to corner her. A scuffle ensued, in which she escaped after shooting me with her crossbow. By good fortune, I managed to make it to a nearby temple, where the priests were convinced to look after my wounds. 

After spending some days to recover from the wound and to make restitution for the healing, I returned to the Dragon, where I was informed that the woman in question was a frequent thief, often using magic to appear different than she is. She is reputed to have killed before. 

Your assistance in tracking her down is requested. Any information you have would be deeply appreciated.

[[OOC: The character in question is Rania--she's robbed/conned money from over 60 PCs at a *low* estimate and definitely murdered 3, as well as shooting one guard (not fatally) whose name begins with T, I think--sorry, can't remember more than that. She's been around for a while but has likely dropped off the register... hopefully she can be back on it again.]]
