[Royal Guard] Tasking from the Lord Protector: Soycellos

Unto Captain Lucius Von Stahl,

Once again we find ourselves amongst eventful times, both in the life
of the city and this nation. I'm sure you recall the vortex a few years
ago, and while I am proud of the service the Guardsmen and Army gave in
the name of their country, there were - perhaps - steps we could have
taken in advance of the situation.

We may find ourselves now able to take such preventative measures if
neccesary, in regards to this 'new star' over the city. It may be
peaceful and purely benign, but Drache is not a city blessed by Menxvan
at the best of times.

I wish to know of strange events and strange people in the city.
Ordering you and your men to keep watch for the unusual is pointless -
this is Drache - but I wish to have more knowledge on the situation at
hand.

Let's not mince words. I want this done fast. Have copies of these
orders posted for the rank and file to read, and make sure they get to
this immediately.

A task I am setting your men is to get me more information from the
streets and people of Drache. I know a madman was captured at the
university and interviewed, and where there is one man who thinks he
knows something, there is almost certainly another. Find out if there
are more.

The university have stewardship of a corpse which fell from the 'star'
a few days ago. Give me a report on the nature of the creature, aspects
both mundane and magical. Either have the university write one up, or
have one of the guard do so after interviewing whomever collected the
corpse.

Finally, I have been told of a group of recent arrivals to our city -
the Soycellos - whom I wish interviewed immediately by any guards
available for the task. I wish to know who they are, why they have come
to Drache, and what they know - or think they know - about the 'star',
though it resembles anything but such a thing these days.

Have this done quickly and without incident. I expect to have reports
on my desk by Sundas eve. Move quickly.
