Unto Lucius von Stahl, Captain of the Royal Guard of Drache

Greetings,

I would first like to introduce myself. I am Julius ul-Arduin Malbraxa,
recently appointed as magistrate, and recent too to this city and what goes
on within. I would like to note that I hold nothing but respect for you and
your command and, coming from the Border Watch myself, I understand to a
point the difficulties that you all face on a daily basis.

The point of this correspondence is, however, quite dire and so I must
proceed straight to the point. I have recently been involved in two trials,
both of which are connected via a common theme. Both of the accused have had
contact or been involved with a Cult whose purpose as far as I can divine is
to spread chaos and disorder, with the ultimate goal of the destabilisation
and destruction of the throne of this kingdom.

These are quite serious accusations, I am aware, and in fact one of the
accused (A Isaiah Dormah) was put to death one week ago for treason. There
remains one (Inayat Dastych) in custody and serving out her punishment, that
being imprisonment till review or the matter is brought to a close.

It is here that I would now like to request that an official inquiry into
the matter be launched as soon as possible. I would request that all who
were involved, guard and citizen or foreigner alike, be questioned. This
matter is, to me, a very dangerous situation that must be rectified and
brought to a close before more acts against the kingdom are perpetrated.

I would note that the accused still in custody appears quite willing to
assist the guard in any manner, and that if so I would like an official
report on it delivered to the chancellory, to assist with our review of her
charges.

If you have any questions, I would be more than willing to answer them
whether by correspondence such as this or a face to face meeting.
