[Royal Guard] Report and trial

 Date of incident: The thirtieth day of Sendepenta, Menxhest, in the four
hundred and seventy-sixth year from the founding of Tagrana. (OOC: 30rd of
June, 2006)

A prisoner, who will henceforth be referred to as 'Dray', was brought to me
by one Arms-Recruit Marqhen Alajin.  A report is being filed by said Recruit
so I will be brief.

Crimes:
Assisting and abetting a fugitive:  he was knowingly possessed by a demon
(which has been exorcised and the artifacts of his sword and a stone were
sent to the Royal University) and also knowingly did not seek help.  His
reason: to seek revenge on his masters.
Assault upon a Crown official
Criminal use of magic
Obstruction of Justice:  Dray tried to bribe me with information; he wished
to be a member of the guard should he reveal information to me.

Sentencing:
whipping: 20 lashes at noon on the first day of Melxbralkat, Lorhest
fines:  he will pay in full the cost of Armsman Alajin's treatments of
injuries
mutiliation:  he will be Sealed; an elfin glyph of Sealing will be placed on
his forehead.  Dray's magic will not be able to be used, he will never be
raised as an undead (vampire or otherwise) and he will never be able to be
possessed again.
imprisonment: he will spend three days in a null magic cell

I did check to make sure the demon was gone and found dying traces of it.
He will be checked come the morning to be sure it is all gone.  If not, his
imprisonment will be extended until it is obliterated.  Dray has been
notified of this.  Being Sealed, Dray cannot leave the realm.
