Short answer from a non-WoD player: they're evil werewolves from WoD. 
Somebody who's more familiar with WhiteWolf's universe can probably tell 
you more than you'd ever want to know. ;) They've been part of BDI's 
world for as long as I've been around. I remember Gabe playing Fitzerain 
when I first came to BDI back in 99, and I'm sure he was hardly the first.
