magistrates, acting under authority granted them by Lord Chancellor Marcion

aiding and abetting the vampire Tertius Seneca by popular vote. The verdict
was unanimous.

You are to turn in your robes, gorgets, and official papers to the
Chancellery clerk and remove your personal effects from your office within a
week of receipt of this missive. Failure to do so will result in a fine of
100 bank crowns per day after the stated deadline.
