<Finally, the lettering on Wolfram's reports has reached a size legible
without the use of reading glasses, but seems the tiniest bit rough, the pen
having bled a bit in one or cases as if he were pressing it on the paper
quite roughly.>
In my stay in the inn today, in which I was attempting to accurately map the
undead-infested underbelly of the wharf, I have witnessed an incident<the
words 'an incident' are crossed out> two separate incidents which bring the
law upon the heads of criminals.
The first incident was early in the day, where I was approached by a man
<description of Judias`Matae> who had very recently used some form of dark
art to envelop the airborne body of some patron who I did not get to see
before he was dissolved. The man quickly claimed self-defense, but shortly
thereafter affirmed my thoughts that he was simply a battle-lusty lunatic
who had a score to settle, and a great deal of outsider blood- half devil,
half angel, half elemental, half vampyre, half human if memory serves
correctly. Naturally, I pored over the math behind this for only a moment
before managing a retort which prompted him to disappear. Before he left,
however, I managed to give him the directions to a vampire's hideout where
he could cut down the leeches to his heart's content. There were only vague
threats against my persona this time, but beware- should he follow my
directions to the letter, he should find himself in the sewers directly
below the guard's latrines. If you see him, consider him unstable and
dangerous, as he believes guards to be fodder for swordplay. And if you do
not, take care and eat much tonight, that you may share your spoils with him
later.
The second incident is with Gaajh, an individual quite familiar to many
guards at this point in time. The man stormed into the inn to ask for a
guard, and when I did not respond immediately due partly to my business with
this report, and partly due to the fact that he has committed crimes in the
past, he turned into his abominable bug form and proceeded to attack a mage
woman with his fire breath. When her hold person and temporary shapeshift
spells wore off, he touted his deeds and threatened to attack patrons
randomly until someone captured him. It is my professional opinion that his
offer to turn himself in is either a bluff or a trick of sorts, for I am
reminded of his behavior in the past. He has impeded the guards before, and
though armsrecruit Snowbough promised to keep him reigned, he has breathed
fire at numerous patrons, and one guard, since. Consider this both a
warning and a warrant- he seems to focus his malcontentness upon the inn,
exclusively.
Protector of life. Servant of the crown, who upholds it,
Magistrate Wolfram ul-Gregory Jaksan
