She explained that the new Emperor of her country blamed all the mistakes of his guards on the followers of Delith, and she being a Priestess of Delith was blamed. Thus he sent his guards to seek all Delith believers, kill them and expose their bodies in public to satisfy the angry mobs. So I request that any patrol of guards seeking jurisdiction in our territory be declined right away to avoid this useless bloodshed. Furthermore, Corporal Quetzocal assigned me as protector to the girl as I shall give her a roof under my home to make sure they do not get near her, that is untill all is cleared out. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Messenger : discutez en direct avec vos amis ! http://www.msn.fr/msger/default.asp From lilsmidget at hotmail.com Sun Jun 8 22:05:01 2003 From: lilsmidget at hotmail.com (Lil Smidget) Date: Sun, 08 Jun 2003 22:05:01 -0500 Subject: [Royal Guard] When the bow breaks, letter to the guards Message-ID: An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Upon entering, I encountered a Gargoyle, Inamo, that had been previously reported as to be a kidnapper and murderer. After a verbal warning, I attempted to restrain the gargoyle. Having bound it's legs, it took flight. At this point three other guards entered: Brason Spyre, Ewan Struecker, and Triolus Pyrder. Also at this time an known woman, claiming nobility, interfered. She refused to allow conflict within the inn. During this time one of the other guards fired a bolt that caused the gargoyle to Decend. After more arguing with the unknown woman, I incapacitied the gargoyle with a hammer blow to the head. At this point Arms-recruit Spyre and myself brought the gargoyle in for detainment, as per orders. After securing the prisoner, I proceeded to have the wound created by a claw slash healed. This is my first wound. To my understanding, further events took place pertaining to the guard. I did not witness these events, so they will not be included in my report. Quetz and I took immediate action once it started charging towards me and whipping at me, the creature spontaneously dissapeared after a few moments, and thus Quetz left for patrol, but little did he know that 15 minutes later, the creature was back, and pissed as ever. So you can guess I took action once more, though this time with the help of a civilian named Lay Trayin, while her and I were battling the beast, Quetz walked back in and helped us. The sadistic demon wore an armor consisted of sleeping babies, so I took measures drastic and drew the battle axe to do some heavy damage to finally kill the demon. [Yes, I'm aware I woke up late.] Anyway, I was dealing with Percy getting my crossbow back [A long story.] and some apparently possessed elf woman, with raven-black hair (Tia`Sama) when who should come in? Of course, everyone's favorite demon lord to kill and hate and try to destroy. Lord Jah Kahn. After asking him not-so-politely to leave [or at least I believe I did], I asked Percy to go up to my room and get me some bolts. Some white-fletched bolts, as these are the ones I use to deal with demons such as Jah Kahn. [What, you think I'm stupid enough to go into the BDI without something to fight demons with? They come in at least three per day.] We faced off; he got hit with a few bolts, I got hit with one in the knee from his crossbow, and... well, things got hairy. My memory's a bit fuzzy, but I do know that Percy was a help, casting some zapping lightning magic at the demon lord and getting me two effective weapons. Jah and myself faced off, he with a greatsword and myself with my glaive; though during this fight he did attempt to kidnap the raven-haired elf woman mentioned earlier. We continued to face off; my glaive got disintergrated during the fight by what I think was a horn, and I ended up wielding a chair against him. I got knocked around a bit, but not that much, though I did end up falling over as he retreated for the door with the elf in tow. At some point later, Percy tossed me Dulcina's frying pan, and I hurled it at him as he retreated. Someone told us to stop, but eventually they ended up helping -- I didn't see who it was, but I know Jah was teleported away without the elf in tow. Soon after, Spell-recruit [I believe...] Odion Tsekani arrived to deal with the elf as I retreated to nurse my wounds and write this report. - Nero _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. To couple the unusual way of deliverance, the name of the guardsman to write it is not pressent. And it does seem more of a call up than an actual report. Fellow guardsmen, vorfon commandants, I would like to bring to your attention a certain troubling fact, that has caught my eye in the recent days. It would appear that a certain druidic sect, know as the "Verdant Grove" has made its appearance in our fair city. I would call your attention to the fact, that their radical naturalistic beliefs have been declared dangerous troughout their homelands and even the most warrior like of elven communities reject their agressive views. To give the nature of this sect in short, it is a druidic cult, founded about a century ago in Elvendeep, stressing on the individual's bond with the plant-life. Through forbidden magics, the druids of the Verdant Grove grant plants the inteligence they were never meant to be and "bond" with them in a series of perverse rituals, resulting in their loss of all human or elven, for that matter, nature. The Verdant Grove's teachings preach against all "artificially imposed" order, such as that of the cityt or state, deny all laws a comunity might have and bear no respect for authority other than their own. These, in combination with their willingness to kill all that stand in their way make them a danger to any country or government. So far, I have managed to uncover only one agent of theirs, but I fear that others might appear before long. If not that, I took notice, that the druid had in his possession a large quantity of magicaly degenerated seeds which, if successfuly planted, might pose a significant threat to our fair city. Enclosed is the description of their agent.(Elm) Should you confront him, or any other of this Verdant Grove, be advised that they are all but defenceless. Coupled with their lack of respect for the human life is their abbility to take it. Always take precautions if you have come into contact with their weapons or their perverted plants, for they are known to often carry the deadliest of toxins. ----------------------------------------------------------------- http://kino.GBG.bg - ?????? | ???? ???????? | ?????????? | ?????? | DVD ? ????? | ???? ??????? I must take blame for this, for Kharees, in her trapped state, began to lose focus and shift to her berserker ways, while Tarma herself shifted to a werewolf form and escaped soon afterwards. Corporal Quetzocal soon arrived at the scene and as well as a man named Mithilin helped to try to calm Kharees down, though evidently she snapped and all hell broke loose because me. Corporal Struecker too joined in, though didn't do much, simply yelling out orders which were ignored on my behalf since I had a girl to knock out for I started the trouble. And so I did, as she regained conciousness, she had returned to normal, but Ewan kicked her harshly in the head to knock her out again and dragged her off, Quetzocal and I followed, the Lizardman left for patrol while I continued. I saw Ewan turn a corner, and thought it was a short-cut, so I followed and when I turned that corner, I saw Ewan punching Kharees with a some brass knuckles, for no reason, before picking her up again and dragging her off. I find that Ewan's behavior is completely out of hand and something should be done about him, but I am also willing to take the full blame on Kharee's situation, for it was my fault to begin with. We're all aware of the woman's condition, and I've seen first hand the brunt of it, but never thought she was capable of directing that force against her comrades, who's lives she remorselessly came close to ending. With all due respect, sir, would you want such a liablity running amock among your ranks, killing off a friend here and there to just shrug it off to some psychotic condition? I sure don't. I'm sure I could speak for everyone when I request her status as a guard immediately revovked, and she be put under the care of the Royal Church for treatment. Early this afteroon I stepped into the Black Dragon Inn, on the pretenses of getting a cup of tea, then returning to patrol, but was met with a brawl between a woman named Lay`Trayin and Macabrae. I ordered a halt to the fighting, and they both complied. I was then informd that the woman, Macabrae had attacked the feline girl Si Howe by use of psionics, a story that was backed up by several in the inn. When I informed the attacker that she was to be taken into custody for questioning, she refused, and then threatened me. She proceeded to resist arrest and I was forced to resort to brute force to subdue her. Unfortunately, a boy, Ender, who, I have been informed was previously arrested on charges of mind rape, but released after flogging earlier today, stepped in and teleported her out of our reach. After searching the grounds, I discovered from the stable master that Macabrae has a horse stabled there, black with crimson mane and tail which she is never far from at any given time. It was requested that I arrest Ender, which I have done, and he is now pending judgement in a cell. While I was transporting him to a holding cell, Macabrae invaded my own mind with mindspeak, then an inadvertant psionic attack. Fortunately, part of my training with my brothers has ensured that I am not completely unprepared for such an attack. By focusing all emotion into that mind link, I was able to counter her attack. After said attack, she came forward to surrender, on the grounds that the boy not be killed. With the murderer arrested as well as he who would aid her, Magistrate Abraxas was sent for to pass judgement on Ender for his crimes. I will also add that this was his second arrest in the span of twenty four hours. Armswoman Xiana Xoushon ~The Sparrow -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Later she entered the Black Dragon and sat down, I was speaking with my sister at the time so I don't know the exact time. A woman named Alaria entered on the back of a human merchant, I decided not to get involved at the time. Alaria killed the man and stabbed him repeatedly, which is when I did get involved, asking her to leave as politely as I could manage. She lunged at me and we fought, I finally knocked her down and attempted to relieve her of her weapons, but I was struck from behind by a man who I don't know the name of. At that point Macabrae involved herself in the matter, destracting me long enough so that Alaria could escape, so I turned my attentions to Macabrae. I nearly severed her arm and then kicked her in the face when she lunged at me. Macabrae withdrew and I turned my attentions to the man who had attacked me. A boy named Ender was also involved, he aided me with Alaria and was injured, which was furthered when Macabrae attacked. The next day I found Macabrae with a man I do not know the name of, and I spoke with her, finding out that she had only been trying to help her friend though she didn't know why. But Armsman Nero woke up and warned me of such matters and we lured the Lord outside to fight, I was aided by commoners, and Armswoman Wolfskill, and without them I probably wouldn't even be alive. The fight began and already I took a bolt to the arm while a second demon attacked me from behind further injuring myself, while I faught the second demon, he soon retreated and as I was about to turn my attention on the Lord Demon, a dragon scooped me up to save me from a cracking ground, and brought me to the guard house since I could not continue the fight given blood loss, we will have to wait and see a report from Armswoman Wolfskill to see what happened after I was gone. Letter signed by the healer, Odion Tsekani, and small X by the name meaning it was approved by the guard. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Search, le moteur de recherche qui pense comme vous ! http://search.msn.fr/worldwide.asp From lerockeurblanc at hotmail.com Fri Jun 20 20:31:50 2003 From: lerockeurblanc at hotmail.com (Franky Bob) Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2003 01:31:50 +0000 Subject: [Royal Guard] Arrest Report Message-ID: Arrest report by Spell-Recruit Odion Tsekani: While I was in the inn this evening, an orc began speaking ill of the elves, a dwarf commented as well, and when he turned to see it was an orc, he quickly began insulting the large creature. Both drew weapons and I gave my warning for them to stop, but the dwarf threw an axe and I was forced to use one of my trap spells. Despite the trap spell and the early warning, the dwarf threw his second weapon on the orc and made a first escape. With the help of my magic, the dwarf and his wolf met the wall and were knocked down, this gave me the time to untrap the orc and let him go, since he did nothing so far, as the dwarf, when I moved to cuff him, he made a second attempt to escape and this time I went with heavier magic, along with help of an unknown source to completely put him out cold and bring him in. He has been fined and lashed minorly for a first offense and has been released with the confiscation of his weapons and the warning to not bring the wolf back within the inn, or else. Sir, It has come to my attention that at least one of the new guards have been overreacting to, taking to violence over, and possibly inciting incidents within the Black Dragon district. I stand personal witness to the Spell Recruit Odion's difficulties keeping his temper, or so it would appear. I observed an incident last eve in the tavern that is the centerpiece of that district between the recruit in question and a group consisting of an orc and a dwarf. From what I saw, and investigated later, his overall reaction to the incident was both excessively violent to the point where he was beating on a suspect already unconscious, using a lightning whip of some sort, and quite possibly unwarranted. Be this some sort of sexual deviancy I know not, but whilst I should not presume to advise, perhaps it would be best if the recruits were partnered at all times with a more experienced guard so that their performance can be evaluated, and restrained if necessary. Well, I say to this, let they that have not sinned cast the first stone. You will find that in the Black Dragon Inn, and in much of Drache the Guard are purposefully provoked, and it can be a great strain on those under verbal and physical attack to maintain an always calm appearance. However, because one loses one temper does not make one overly violent. There are times when what an outside person may view as excess force becomes necessary. As guards we bare the responsibility to reduce a threat to law abiding citizens. There are times when mere words do nothing to difuse a situation, and it becomes necessary to use force. In regards to inciting incidents, I will kindly inform she who has voiced concerns that in the Black Dragon Inn, simply entering in uniform is enough to bring violence your way. This is something I have learned all too well in the past few months. Message-ID: Greetings fellow Royal Guards, In order that we may become better known to one another, I've decided to take the time to introduce myself. I am Armsman Recruit Zesstra Riknueth, just recently inducted into your ranks. I find it both an honor and a preiviledge to serve amongst Arangoth's finest. My partner and I have already had quite the introduction to the crimnals in this city, having apprehended Crane one evening, and been present for the attempt on Jah Kahn the next. You will please excuse us, as our methods may seem a bit unorthodox upon first glance, given my partner's innate nature. I assure you though, we are both ready and willing to assist in whatever needs there may be for our services. I look forward to working with you all. May the blade glance upon your armor, and may your aim be true. Respectfully, Arms Recruit Riknueth **OOC** On that note, if it's possible, I'd like to get a current list of who's wanted in Drache, as well as descriptions if possible. I'm partnered with Dave (Stinkmaw) in all of this, so generally you won't see us apart much. Where one goes... the other is most likely lurking in the bushes (or IS the bushes...) somewhere! It's written in common, however. "Upon the disappearance of one Lord Jah Kahn, I learned that one of the women upon the porch, one named Lay Trayin, had cast a lesser banishment spell upon said Demon. Questioning the woman, she denied any such actions, claiming she had not seen anyone cast the spell, however she did name the spell by the name aforementioned. I became suspicious. After further questions, I prompted her to tell the truth, giving her one more chance. She hence admitted to casting the lesser banishment spell for the goodwill of the Guard. She claimed that she was saving lives, rather than letting a Demon escape its demise. I gave her a verbal lashing and told her if she -ever- interfered with the Guard again, she would be arrested and punishment would be dealt. She seemed to take this lightly. I would advise watching this Lay Trayin." it is signed in a flowing, loopy signature. "Upon my first day, I entered the inn for a brief reprise due to the heat, though still on duty. I spied an arrow embedded in the dying fire's logs, and immediately began to look for the culprit. However, I did not have to look very long, as another arrow was fired into the beams overhead. I followed the woman outside to the porch, where I thus began to tell her not to fire her arrows in the inn. She was insubordinate and told me she would do whatever she pleased when fighting "fire imps". I claimed to her that she would not fire arrows again. She was also informed that if I saw her draw another weapon within the inn's walls, she would be taken into the guardhouse for punishment. She did not seem to take this seriously. Two other guards were outside with me, though I did not get their names. (hastily written are descriptions of Sune and Nero) They aided me, since I am still new to the ranks. The woman is one Keana (I believe that's her name). I will watch for her to do this again. If she does, action will be taken. The questioning had to be cut a little short as she transformed into a blue-coloured dragon and ran away. Just then is when one Lord Jah Kahn attacked." Signed in the same loopy signature. Through a fight between primarily the demon and the dragon, once others herded the demon outside, the demon was tortured until he revealed the location of his lair and was induced to talk so that he expressed interest in 'Elluria' and some woman, apparently the love interest of a particular guardsman. The demon was dismissed by the henchman before the dragon could close a deal, but did get satisfaction in melting off the wings of the woman who was responsible for the spell that saved Kahn. It is suggested the woman be bountied. The bucket of--well, parts, and the stone that was given by the demon lord to the dragon, were left with this report. The dragon indicated that the parts could be used to induce extra torment upon the demon. I was threatened to give this report exactly as the dragon specified. I suggest in the future another means be devised of dictation instead of face to face. My pen still is shaking. (OOC: In about an hour, guards should be gathered for a raid.
