[Royal Guard] Makaiki's Report: Yet Another Murder

As always, the armswoman had been forced to bully one of the secretaries 
into taking a dictation, given her partial illiteracy;  It simply took less 
time than learning to write in Common.

"Evening, 14th Last Seed.

I was completing my patrol along the edge of the forest when I witnessed a 
humanoid creature leaving the Black Dragon Inn.  It was attacked, and had 
its neck snapped by a figure that was waiting there, then the figure, 
obviously female, went into the inn herself.  My nightvision allows me to 
see in shades of light and dark more than true colour, so I could not be 
certain who the woman was.

Luckily, when I followed her into the tavern, another Armswoman was present, 
and saw the person ahead of me go into the bathing room.  I am certain she 
will submit her own report on the matter.

Whilst we were interrogating a suspect, another one sought to escape the 
premesis through the kitchen doors.  I halted her, and herded her back to my 
comrade and the other suspect.  A magistrate arrived, for reasons unknown, 
and we informed him of the happenings.  His Honour ordered me to take the 
mother, named Azrach, back to the guardhouse.

She tried to be difficult, refusing to allow me to take her back at first, 
until His Honour accompanied us.  When we arrived, His Honour ordered me to 
find her some proper clothing, as she was clad in little more than a 
loincloth, and to force her to wear them.

I found her clothing, as ordered, but she refused to wear them, and I could 
not think of a way to diplomatically make her, other than knocking her 
unconscious and dressing her like a child.  By this stage, the hour was late 
and dressing one of the local whores was hardly my top priority.

When I tried to get her into a cell for the night, she threatened me, 
attempted to use magics, possibly to induce some sort of mystical fear, and 
told me, "She would not rest in a cage".  My temper grew short, and I was 
forced to use the magic-nulling cuffs on her and force her into the cell 
myself.  <OOC Note:  This didn't happen ICly, but after Az-mun decided to 
keep Blake and I waiting for, like, an hour without explaination, then 
vanished after saying Azrach refused to enter the cell without giving us a 
chance to say otherwise, we agreed OOCly to 'assume' what happened.  I mean, 
come on, like Maki's gonna let a murder suspect sit outside a cell in the 
dungeons, where she could escape at will.>
